IMS Oil Pan Spacer Features: OEM-Quality for Enhanced Performance Our IMS Oil Pan Spacer, designed to OEM standards, is made with factory-grade materials the same as the stock hardware for optimal durability and longevity. Featuring a unique “slosh back” lip, it ensures consistent oil flow and pressure under dynamic driving conditions such as rapid acceleration, sharp deceleration, and tight cornering. ideal for high-performance vehicles. As we continue to push the boundaries of the 2.5 TFSI DAZA/DNWA engine well into the 1000+HP territory we find more of the factory supporting systems are beginning to lack. Under extreme conditions and power levels, we have found there to be a need for more oil volume to fight oil starvation under extreme straight line acceleration or hard cornering.
